The Turbo Dynamics team travelled to the Elvington Circuit near York to support several of our longstanding technical partners and customers competing in the popular Ten of the Best competition in 2015. The annual automotive event sees the fastest performance cars from across the UK come together to compete across three different disciplines for the highly coveted Ten of the Best title. It was a fantastic weekend with a huge array of cars including Nissans, Subarus and Mitsubishis in their plethora taking on the competitions different events; a handling circuit, a quarter mile drag race and a top speed over a standing kilometre. Seawork International has become over the years a hugely significant event for all sectors of the marine industry. As ever, 2015's event was jam packed with the latest in on-board safety technology, revolutionary gadgets and pioneering machinery, not to mention the abundance of cutting-edge vessels of all shapes and sizes which were docked at the ABP Southampton Port outside the exhibition centre. We have just finished overhauling and upgrading a turbocharger from the legendary Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak car for our longstanding technical partners, Geoff Page Racing. Red Bull have described this model, which has won the notorious ‘Race to the Clouds’ Pikes Peak twice, as one of the top five 'iconic' Pikes Peak International Hillclimb vehicles to have ever entered the Colorado Folklore event. In 2015 the Turbo Dynamics Team headed to Tewkesbury to catch up with some old friends and partners to help Litchfield Motors celebrate the opening of their extensively refurbished and extended workshop. To mark the occasion Litchfield held a charity open day with reduced dyno rates for Nissan R35 GTR owners to test their motors on their brand new state of the art rolling road, with all proceeds being donated to charity.
